Molekulare Diagnostik genetischer und epigenetischer Veränderungen bei soliden Tumoren
Die molekulare Signatur bestimmt wesentlich das Erscheinungsbild eines Tumors. Der Anteil genetischer Mutationen und epigenetischer Modifikationen sowie die resultierenden Expressionsmuster erlauben wichtige Rückschlüsse auf Prognose (Wachstums- und Invasionsfähigkeit, Metastasierungspotential) und Therapieoptionen (molekulare Targets) einer Tumorerkrankung.

Hämatopathologie
Dieser Teil der Pathologie, beschäftigt sich mit den Erkrankungen des blutbildenden Knochenmarks und der lymphatischen Organe. Gegenstand der Diagnostik sind dabei Knochenmarkpunktionszylinder (FFPE-Material), Ausstrichpräparate sowie peripheres und Knochenmarkblut.
